Ribbon Packing Gauze

Description

Multigate Packing Gauze (ribbon gauze) is a sterile, single-use dressing designed for packing deep wounds and cavities during open surgical procedures and wound care. Manufactured by Multigate Medical Products, it is made from 100% cotton conforming to B.P. standards and presented in a white, low-lint construction with tucked/folded ends to minimise loose fibres. The flexible ribbon format helps the gauze conform to tunnels and undermining, while high absorbency supports effective management of wound exudate. Each unit is individually wrapped for aseptic presentation. For cases requiring radiographic traceability, an X-ray detectable (XRD) variant incorporates a blue radio-opaque thread securely heat-bonded to the gauze.
