Description
Multigate’s SafePro40 Reinforced Surgical Gown Pack is a sterile, single‑use bundle designed for procedures with light to moderate fluid exposure. Built on a 40 gsm non‑woven SMS polypropylene base in blue, it provides barrier protection consistent with AAMI PB70 Level 3 while maintaining breathability and drape for comfortable wear. The pack format supports operating room efficiency by pairing the gown with sterile towels.
Key features
- 40 gsm SMS polypropylene base material; water‑repellent and low linting
- Reinforced critical zones: inside front and inside sleeves feature an additional white SS non‑woven layer with a soft PE coating to help reduce fluid strikethrough
- Sleeve seams bonded with adhesive (no stitch holes) to limit potential fluid pathways
- Lightweight, breathable construction with generous sleeve sizing for ease of movement
- Easily draped, blue colour for clear visual contrast in the sterile field
- Single use; do not re‑use
Pack contents and presentation
- Primary configuration: 1 reinforced surgical gown + 2 low‑lint, non‑woven hand towels
- Alternative configuration: 1 reinforced surgical gown + 1 huck towel
- Sterile presentation: wrapped in a 90 × 90 cm SMS sterile field and supplied in a paper–plastic peelable pouch
- Within the SafePro40 line, Standard and Reinforced versions exist; the “Gown Bundle” refers to the sterile pack configurations noted above
Sterility and processing
- Sterile, processed using Ethylene Oxide (EtO)
- Not suitable for sterilisation by irradiation
Performance and standards
- AAMI PB70 Level 3 barrier for light to moderate fluid exposure
- Base material meets US CPSC 16 CFR Part 1610 flammability requirements (Class 1)
