SafePro40 Surgical Gown

Description

The Multigate SafePro 40 Surgical Gown, available in standard and reinforced variants, is designed to provide AAMI PB70 Level 3 barrier protection in critical zones for procedures with light to moderate fluid exposure. It supports aseptic technique by helping protect patients and operating room personnel from the transfer of micro-organisms, body fluids, and particulate material.

Construction and materials

• Base fabric: Four-layer SMMS non-woven polypropylene (approx. 40 gsm) that is water-repellent, breathable, blue, low linting, and easily draped.
• Sleeve seams are bonded/adhesive-joined to remove stitch holes and reduce the risk of fluid strikethrough.

Reinforced option

• Additional strong yet breathable reinforcement in critical front and arm zones for added protection against fluid strikethrough.
• Reinforcement material: 34 gsm SS with a soft PE coating placed on the inside front and inside sleeves.

Protection and standards

• AAMI PB70 Level 3 barrier performance in critical zones.
• Tested using AATCC 42 for barrier performance.
• Flammability: US CPSC 16 CFR Part 1610, Class 1.

Sterility and use

• Available in sterile and non-sterile versions.
• Sterile gowns are EtO sterilized; not suitable for sterilization by irradiation.
• Intended for single use only; do not re-use.

Packaging (sterile unit pack)

• Contents: 1 gown plus either 2 low-linting towels or 1 huck towel.
• Wrapped in a 90 × 90 cm SMS non-woven sterile field.
• Supplied in a paper–plastic peelable pouch.
