The ThreadX® XRD Throat Pack with Tail from Sentry Medical is a sterile throat pack gauze designed for use in surgical procedures involving the throat region. Made from 100% cotton gauze, it is intended to absorb saliva and blood during surgery while assisting with bleeding control in the operative field.
A green x-ray-detectable thread is heat-bonded to the gauze to support identification during procedural checks. The pack also includes a black tail, or long tape, which improves visual recognition and helps with removal when required.
