The Sentry Medical Thrombexin A-E Stocking 18 Thigh Length with Waist Attachment is a thigh-length anti-embolism stocking designed to provide graduated compression from the ankle to the thigh. It is intended for immobile patients during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care, where compression therapy may help reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism. It is also indicated for the prevention and therapy of post-operative and post-traumatic oedema.
