Description

Urimaax Drainage Bag Meter 400 mL Sterile is a sterile urinary drainage and urine-output monitoring system designed for situations where measured collection and ongoing drainage are required. The system combines a 400 mL urine meter or burette with an attached drainage bag, allowing clinicians and carers to monitor output while maintaining a closed collection setup. It is supplied ready to use, which supports efficient preparation in clinical and care environments.

The set includes a universal stepped catheter connector to help accommodate standard catheter connections, along with a needle-free sampling port for specimen collection when urine samples are needed. Dual non-wettable breather filters are included to support system function during drainage.

Configuration and handling

The validated configuration includes a 2500 mL night bag and 250 cm tubing attached to the 400 mL meter chamber. Multiple hanging and securement options are provided to assist with positioning at the bedside or in care settings. These include dual hangers, a hook, hanger holes compatible with universal plastic or metal hangers, a bed sheet clamp, and a rope tie.

Materials and care settings

This product is latex-free and is reported to be made from PVC, PP, and TPE materials. It is intended for urine output monitoring in hospital wards, critical care, aged care, and home or community care settings where sterile urinary drainage collection is required.
