Urocare Tubing Connector

Description

Urocare Tubing Connector is a replacement connector designed for use in urinary drainage systems. This Urocare-branded component is used on tubing and catheter assemblies to join drainage connections across a range of compatible urinary appliances. It can be used to connect Uro-Con or Uro-Cath male external catheters, Foley indwelling catheters, drainage or extension tubing, and reusable or disposable urinary drainage bags, bottles, and related urinary or ostomy appliances.

Constructed from semi-transparent polypropylene, the connector is non-sterile, latex-free, and DEHP-free. The semi-transparent material can help with visual alignment during connection, while the material profile supports use in systems where latex-free and DEHP-free components are preferred.

Design Features

The connector features a Reverse-Grip barbed design with graduated 3-rib secure-hold ends. This construction is intended to provide a firm fit with most standard drainage or extension tubing and to help maintain stable connections within urinary drainage setups.

Size Options

Two validated size variants are available:

• Small: 5/16 in. (8 mm) outer diameter, approximately 2.25 in. (5.7-6 cm) long
• Large: 3/8 in. (9 mm) outer diameter, approximately 2.25 in. (5.7-6 cm) long

These options allow selection based on the tubing or catheter assembly requirements of the drainage system.
