Zetuvit Plus Silicone (non‑border) from HARTMANN is a sterile, single‑use superabsorbent wound dressing designed for the management of wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. It features a soft, micro‑adherent silicone wound‑contact layer that conforms gently to the wound bed and peri‑wound skin, eliminating the need for a separate contact layer. The absorbent core combines cellulose fluff with superabsorbent particles (SAP) to provide high uptake and secure retention of exudate, including under compression therapy. A fluid‑repellent backing helps minimize strikethrough and leakage, supporting an optimal wound microclimate.

Application guidance

1. Cleanse the wound according to clinical guidance (e.g., with a physiological solution).
2. Select a dressing size that extends approximately 1–2 cm beyond the wound edges; do not cut the dressing.
3. Gently dry the peri‑wound skin to aid adherence.
4. Remove the protective sheets and place the adherent silicone side onto the wound; ensure the green side faces away from the wound.
5. Secure with suitable fixation (e.g., cohesive or elastic bandage) and apply compression if indicated.
