HARTMANN Zetuvit sterile is a highly absorbent, non-adhesive, single-use wound dressing designed for the management of acute and chronic exuding wounds. It combines efficient fluid uptake with comfort and protection, using a multi-layer construction that minimizes adhesion to the wound while helping prevent strike-through to clothing and linen. A blue-colored thread on the backside provides an orientation aid during application.

Construction and design

• Absorbent core of smooth cellulose fibers (fluff) for high-capacity uptake.
• Cellulosic tissue distribution layer to evenly spread exudate across the core.
• Wound-contact layer: non-adherent, hydrophilic nonwoven to minimize sticking and support moisture transfer.
• Backside: hydrophobic, water-repellent yet air-permeable nonwoven to reduce strike-through and maintain breathability.
• Orientation aid: blue thread on the backside to identify the non-wound-facing surface.
